Sandeep has lived a season of unparallel happiness and umpteenth joys on Indian Idol stage. During his journey to become Indian Idol, he also witnessed many events that keep visiting him more often than not! Some of those memorable moments are captured here to recall those moments/events/fans.

Doing a show in the presence of Amitabh Bachchan in (Leister) UK was a dream come true for Sandeep. He shared stage with his Idol Amitabh Bachchan for two consecutive days and he still rates those days as the most exciting and memorable days of his life. Big B appreciated and complimented on his performance and achievements which for him are the best words of compliments he ever received.

During his UK shows, few Paki girls were present everywhere he went and he finally called them and thanked for supporting him.

A Saudi Arabian woman approached Sandeep during one of his shows in UK and after the show, she hugged Sandeep and at that moment, her eyes were wet. She liked the simplicity of her idol Sandeep that made him loveable and adorable across the globe.

Meeting his favourite actresses Kareena Kapoor and Kajol on the sets of Indian Idol show was an experience of life for Sandeep. He still remembers and cherishes those moments when he got to talk to these lovely leading ladies of the Indian cine industry.

Inspiring words from Kajol before the show helped him gather more confidence for the Grand Finale and he showcased the best that he had kept in store for such a big occasion.

Millions of Fan loved and supported him through out the season but he remembers a fan who wrote ‘Sandeep’ 10,000 times on a T-shirt and gifted it to him in one of his shows.

One more such fan was in Lucknow, who decorated her room with roses and roses all over and Sandeep visited the house to show his gratitude for the love and support he got from such fans.

Sandeep has many online fan clubs that included members from several countries and few of his fans keep calling him for the latest updates. His fans, particularly female fans are very possessive.

A fan in his hometown collected all the news pieces published about him from the time of his first appearance – auditions in Kolkata and gifted it to Sandeep when he visited Bikaner. The surprising fact is that the age of the fan was just 12 years!

There were also moments when he was embarrassed! For a Taka-Tak episode, Indian Idol team played a skit on him by sending a girl and his brother to Sandeep The girl portrayed as if she was dying to get marry to Sandeep and this made him totally out of the world as he had no answers at all – not so any! When the unit told him about the skit at the end of the saga, he was like – damn it, I’m glad its not a real thing! This event was aired on Taka-Tak show.

During a promotion campaign in a Mall in Mumbai, a fan was not allowed for Sandeep’s autograph on any other paper than a CD cover. She didn’t have the money at that time but she went home, got back in half an hour and purchased 15 CDs. She approached the security who stopped her and showed her a bag full of CDs. Sandeep, when came to know about this incident not only yelled at the security but also called her and signed on all the CDs for this young lady.
